Televisit is not a replacement for traditional medicine; rather, it is a supplement to our current system of care. Our Doctors or Nurse Practitioners can use the Remote visitsto diagnose and treat patients who are unable to come into the clinic. You can have a face-to-face talk with a Doctor or Nurse Practitioner from the comfort of your home, hotel, or wherever you are travelling using your computer or the Healow app and a compatible mobile device.

 

To plan a Televisit, you must have web access to the Patient Portal. If you aren't, please ask our receptionist to set up your account for web access.

 

Make an appointment for a Televisit by calling our office. You will receive an email confirmation with a link after your appointment has been scheduled. You can use the Healow app on your mobile device or the URL sent in your email.

 

Fill out a brief questionnaire about your visit ten minutes before your planned appointment by clicking on the link in your email or by using the Healow app on your mobile device. From your computer or smartphone, you'll be linked to a doctor or nurse practitioner via 2-way video. Your doctor or nurse practitioner will diagnose your ailment, answer your questions, and, if necessary, send a prescription to the pharmacy of your choice.

 

Remote visits can help with acne, bites and stings, birth control pill consultations, cough, congestion, runny nose, diarrhoea, nausea, vomiting, fever, headaches, hives, pink eye, lice, skin infections, sprains and strains, travel prescriptions, and other minor medical issues.

 

If you have a medical emergency, dial emergency no immediately and do not try to get help through a remote visit.

 

Televisit appointments follow the same policies as in-office visits:

Appointment fees are required at the time the appointment is arranged when scheduling a Televisit.

To begin your Televisit, click on the email link you were received 10 minutes before to your appointment time, or utilise the healow mobile app with your mobile device.

To prevent any no-show costs, please phone the office at least 2 hours before your scheduled appointment to cancel or reschedule.

It's the same as logging in at the office when you log on to Televisit.

We will have to reschedule your appointment if you are not online and checked in at the time of your visit.

Remote visits is an advanced Telemedicine solution that integrates with your EHR system and allows you to see patients remotely while supporting all of your other clinical operations. Remote visits allows you to check patients in and out, make visit notes, handle payments, and more, just like in-person appointments.

 

You may start a visit from IMS or your mobile EHR app, IMSGo, thanks to medical software company like Meditab. Patients can join via a link or directly from their IMS Patient App in the meantime. Simple and quick. Mobile. When you have an integrated, full-featured choice, why waste time and money on third-party platforms?
